2001 - 2006 – Secretary General of the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce, Bombay, India. The Chamber aims at developing economic and industrial ties between India and Italy, and is officially recognised by the Italian Government. Successfully expanded the Chamber’s organisational strength by doubling the initial 20 staff and structuring four regional offices in Calcutta, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai. Substantially improved the visibility of the Chamber by initiating mega events such as Festa Italiana and Namaste India, and increased the overall number of projects and programmes organised by the Chamber. Increased manifolds the turn over of the Chamber. Project co-ordinator of several EU-funded projects.

2000 – 2001 – Promos, Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan – Asia Manager. In charge of projects and promotional activities concerning Asian countries, namely India, China and Japan. Organisation of business delegations to Asia, hosting of Asian institutional or business delegations to Milan, networking with Italian, Asian Associations and Italian Chambers of Commerce in Asia for joint projects. Supervising the Promos Desks of India, China, and Taiwan at the local Italian Chambers of Commerce.

1997 - 2000 - I.P.I. (Institute for Industrial Promotion), Governmental agency of the Italian Ministry of Industry. International Industrial Co-operation office.
Expert for the Middle-East and Central Europe. 1) managing projects, together with foreign governmental counterparts, for the implementation of Sector Services Centres (SSCs) and industrial clusters in partner Countries, to foster the development of local SME systems; 2) designing strategies to foster the internationalisation of Italian SMEs; 3) providing technical assistance to partner Governments on legislation concerning SMEs and relevant industrial policies; 4) active participation in UN-ECE, CEI and OECD activities, as well as international conferences related to industrial development issues.

1997 - July-December - Nestlé Italia SpA. Junior trade marketing manager. Analysed economic and commercial indicators for the merger of brands Berni and Sasso within Nestlé’s Food Division.
