Frank Zambrelli President & Creative Director, Leiber
	Frank Zambrelli is interested in beauty, balance and intelligent design in all of its forms. As a frequent globetrotter, he is inspired by the people and places that populate his world: a curve in the road, materials that inspire their own design, even a long forgotten culture, the sources are infinite. Inspiration comes together with the singular purpose of accessorizing one’s natural beauty to it’s most luxurious state. At LEIBER, Frank folds all of these thoughts and experiences into creating a world in which a woman can feel completely unique and special; in a sense, cherished. Zambrelli’s journey in the world of fashion began after a trip to the European shows inspired him to abandon his pursuits in medicine and embark on a career in fashion. An eager apprentice, Zambrelli began his career at Chanel, working with the New York and Paris design and development teams in the cosmetics and fragrance division. Under the tutelage of design mavericks Karl Lagerfeld and Dominique Moncourtois, he developed an appetite and a passion for well-crafted luxury, and perfect color. John Varvatos gave him his next big break, and he moved on to Cole-Haan, where he held various positions in product design, development and marketing for both the U.S. and international divisions. Subsequent posts at the brand in Europe and Asia had a profound influence on his aesthetic, and helped to cement his global design vision. Later, Zambrelli would be recruited by Lew Frankfort at Coach Leatherware, where he found great success creating and launching their footwear collection, a business that remains significant to this day. His talents have since taken him all over the globe, designing and developing a broad variety of collections ranging from industrial oriented, technical performance product to an eponymous custom furniture collection and runway accessories for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and others. Zambrelli joined LEIBER as Creative Director in 2004. Zambrelli obtained a bachelor’s degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and pursued graduate programs at Columbia and NYU. Born and raised on the North Shore of Long Island, Zambrelli currently resides in New York City.
