Looking Back at EventAvenue 2009
December 31, 2009 - Mumbai, India.

As we welcome in the New Year, let’s take a quick look at how EventAvenue, your online registration solution has evolved.

In 2009, there were 3 significant additions to EventAvenue – two new modes of payment - Cash Card and Debit Cards and the addition of more banks to the direct debit option.

Addition 1: Cash Card
EventAvenue went ‘live’ with a cash card option by signing an agreement with ItzCash Card. This new mode of payment makes it possible for you to target and capture those audiences who do not have a credit card, net banking or mobile payment account. The Cash Card option also enables you to target those audiences who are reluctant to use their credit cards or net banking enabled accounts to pay for conference or ticket bookings online.

Addition 2: Debit Cards
India maybe a credit adverse country but almost every individual with a bank account possesses an ATM cum Debit Card. EventAvenue has added 15+ Indian debit cards to an already extensive payment list to provide you with easy access to new customer segments. You can now accept registrations and payments from customers holding debit cards from the following Indian Banks - Axis Bank, Barclays Bank, Canara Bank, Citi Bank, Corporation Bank, Cosmos Bank, Duetsche Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, ING Vysya, Karur Vysya Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Punjab National Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, State Bank Of India, Union Bank Of India & Yes Bank.
